A Parabolic Antenna
A satellite dish is an antenna that has been developed to obtain signals from a broadcast station. It has been designed in a bowl shape shell to receive the signal and dispatch it to the central feed horn which creates a strong satellite receiver. Satellites orbit the earth at 35,000 km in the sky. Satellites receive signals from broadcasters, which are sent back down to your satellite dish providing you with television.
